About
Mary I. Melton graduated from Santa Clara University (B.S. 1989, cum laude) and UC Davis, School of Law (J.D. 1992) and is admitted to the California State Bar and U.S. District Courts (Eastern, Northern, Central and Southern).
Ms. Melton’s practice focuses on defending personal injury, general liability, construction defect and employment law claims.
Ms. Melton has substantial experience in litigation, both in state and federal court. Her practice has spanned three decades and she has successfully defended cases in appellate court, including arguing in the Third District Court of Appeal of California. In addition to personal injury claims and general liability claims, Mary’s experience includes employment law and public entity defense. As an employment attorney, Mary has provided a wide array of counseling and training to employers.
Away from the office, Mary enjoys going to baseball games and comedy shows with her twin sons. She is an avid sports fan and roots for all Northern California teams.
