About
Ed Pamintuan brings over 17 years of legal experience to Sims, Lawrence, & Broghammer, with prior defense litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage, including motor vehicle accident, premises liability, nuisance & trespass, general negligence, and habitability actions.
His current practice predominantly focuses on personal injury litigation and defending the Human Service Industry.
Ed began his legal career as an assistant public defender at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Over five years, Ed conducted hundreds of depositions, argued numerous dispositive motions, and tried 25 jury trials. Afterwards, he opened a personal injury practice, prioritizing open communication and thorough representation to meet or exceed his client’s expectations and goals.
A 2006 cum laude graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, Ed studied on scholarship and earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with an emphasis on Western Europe, from the University of California, Irvine in 2003.
When not advocating for clients, Ed cherishes time with his wife and two daughters, enjoys outdoor adventures, and unwinds at beaches and local or state parks. An avid supporter of legal education, he is a coach for the Sweetwater Union High School mock trial team. His ultimate goal? To one day enjoy an undisturbed nap in a hammock.
