About
Patrick Campbell is a litigation attorney at Sims, Lawrence & Broghammer. His practice focuses primarily on construction defect, personal injury and general liability matters. Patrick’s experience includes jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations and mediations.
Patrick graduated from San Jose State University in 1988, with a degree in Psychology and thereafter attended Western State University College of law, graduating in 1993. While at WSU, Patrick worked as a law clerk for a local attorney and was granted authority from the court to sit second chair for a trial.
Patrick is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts.
Patrick began his career with the City Attorney’s office for the city of Santa Cruz. He then moved to Southern California to work for a law firm specializing in construction matters. Not long after, Patrick migrated to Sacramento, where, for almost 30 years, he has been mostly involved in insurance defense, specializing in construction defect litigation. In that time, he has served as staff counsel or Zurich American Insurance Company, and Financial Pacific Insurance Company (now part of United Fire Group).
Patrick is married and lives in Elverta, California. He and his wife have five children and nine grandchildren. When Patrick is not at work, he’s spending time with his wife and grandchildren. It is not uncommon to see Patrick with a guitar in his hands, yes, even at the office.
